The Washington Mystics have added a new entry into the annals of sport and time: basketball and brunch.

If you've ever wondered what professional basketball might look like if it had the tailgate scene of NFL and college football games, the Mystics have a similar experience that is tailored to the signature D.C. brunch vibe.

Fans can watch the Mystics play at 100-level seating with access to a pregame feast that includes bottomless mimosas and an extensive brunch spread with chicken and waffles and fruit and pastries.

In the inaugural basketball and brunch game, Washington lost 84-75 to the Seattle Storm on Sunday. The Mystics are set to have three more brunch games this year, featuring contests against the Dallas Wings and Las Vegas Aces, which have already sold out.
